| ¡@¡@It is to encourage students to be good in conduct and to be deligent in study that many scholarships have been formed. Public and private enterprises and other firms have contributed in large sums so generously due to the acknowledged stringent teaching of this department that as many as 16 scholarship funds now exist, with funds ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$40,000. Over 80 students are awarded every semester, topping all other departments in this school. It goes without saying that scholarships are being awarded to promising students from low-income families and are good in conduct, academic achievements, athletics, and companionship.
Robert
A. Rogers Scholarship
The recipient of the
annual Robert A. Rogers Scholarship Award will receive $1000.
Any Soochow graduate who is coming to the U.S. to pursue
advanced degree in accounting is eligible to apply. Unless
otherwise approved by our board a recipient shall receive this
scholarship only once so more Soochow graduates will have the
opportunity to enjoy the benefit of this scholarship. Every
Spring our board will act on the recommendation of the nominee
of this scholarship presented by Soochow University.
